I hope you have all had a happy and healthy Christmas and New Year Holiday! We are gearing up for the new year of swimming at Norah Head Swim School and can’t wait to welcome everyone back at the pool.
Lessons commence next Monday, the 11th of January. Most of our rising kindergarteners have been moved into classes either in the afternoons or on Saturday morning. If we are not yet aware that your child needs to change their lesson time, please let us know as soon as possible. There are a few children that have yet to be moved as I am still trying to create classes for them. If you have a rising kindergarten student and you have not been contacted about a schedule change, please email me at email@example.com so we can discuss your child’s swimming schedule.
You will notice some changes to our swim school program going into the New Year. We have given the program more structure and will be working on a leveled program with very specific skills required to be mastered to move from one level to the next. You will see me on the pool deck much more, guiding the instructors in implementing the changes. We have some of the best instructors around and I am excited to see them grow and develop professionally. We had a very productive staff development day at the beginning of the break and we will continue to support our staff as they learn and grow as aquatics professionals.
With the new outbreaks of COVID-19 in NSW, we will be tightening up our adherence to COVID safe practices. It will be mandatory for all family members who are accompanying swimmers to wear a mask while in the swim centre. It is also mandatory that all families check-in using the QR codes posted outside the swim centre. Reception staff will be looking for the green tick and if you do not check-in you will need to wait outside until your child’s class has finished. It is important for everyone to do their part so we can keep each other safe and avoid another lockdown.
Please remember that fees are due on the 10th of each month, meaning that fees will be due prior to resuming lessons. If you are facing financial hardship and need to organise a payment plan, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. We will work together to find a solution! Payments can be made via bank transfer or through the Customer Portal. If you have not accessed our customer portal, you may do so via our website www.norahheadswimschool.com If you would like to pay by direct debit, a link to a direct debit agreement can be sent to you via text and/or email.
